OLFACTORY NOTES

FRANKINCENSE This African essence is prized for its virtues and used around the world during ceremonies. The essential oil is steam distilled from the gum. Frankincense blends well with a variety of wood notes, bringing warmth, volume and elegance. Its array of emotions is one of the components of the base note of Zen.

MYRRH This universal deep fragrance resonates with the inner self, its warm, slightly musty, earthy aroma links with the pathway of the soul and helps us to realize the need to let go, that they are past and that it’s time to move forward. It is released as one of the components as the base note of Zen.

MANDARIN Originally from Japanese myths, it was likely to be considered as the Fruit of the everlasting tree. Mandarin was first cultivated in Asia and is a key element in the perfumer’s palette. 

The cold expression of the fruit rind produces the gentle oil released as one of the top notes of Zen.
